Penny
realised why she had felt the eyes burning into her back. Fiona was floating above the floor,
her hair twirling around in the air. Her eyes shot fire and she had a very
creepy smile on her face. This was officially the scariest thing Penny had seen
in her life. She knew that this would be her last minutes alive.
Fiona started talking,
with a sharp and raw voice. “Penny, have you realised what you have done?”
Complete silence. Penny was trying not to speak, afraid she’d say something
bad. “We both know that you ruined this town just for your own good. That is a
horrible thing to do my girl” Penny stared at her and could squeeze out a “sorry”
that probably only dogs could hear, before she started shaking like a leaf. “You’re
not really sorry, are you? You’ve been doing this because you enjoy to break
people’s hearts!” Fiona sounded really furious now. “There is only one thing I
can do to punish you and I promise you won’t like it” This was it, her last
breath of air. The last time she’d hear her own heartbeat. Penny closed her
eyes so she wouldn’t have to see how Fiona was going to kill her. She squeezed
her eyes tightly and waited for it. She heard Fiona laughing, a cold laugh
filled with anger. Then she felt an excruciating pain, something so horrible
you wouldn’t wish it on your worst enemy. She couldn’t help but opening her
eyes to see what was happening. There was fire everywhere and black smoke.
Fiona looked at her, right in the eyes and the pain got a million times worse.
Penny screamed and screamed until everything went black. Complete silence in
her head, she couldn’t hear the flames roaring and all her possessions burning.
This was definitely not the way she thought her life would end.
