Miss Taylor

A while back I entered a give away at Bows And Pearls to win the Sigma Miss Taylor brush.
I received an e-mail from the lovely Gertrude that I won the brush and that Sigma would send it to me.

So when that package arrived I was over the moon!

They call me Nana! So awesome!

The tube the brush comes in is really pretty purple. It has stars and Miss Taylor on the cap and the bottom says Sigma make-up. This type of brush is called a flat top Kabuki brush and is mostly used for face powders, bronzers and blushers. The brush is retractable, so when the cap comes off you have to slide the other part down to use the brush. This does make it easy to make the brush a little smaller when you want to apply a blush or something. The brush itself is extremely soft! I seriously cannot stop stroking it. I love using it, ever since I got it I powder my face with this brush instead of my crappy HEMA brush.

I do think a flat top kabuki brush makes applying powders and bronzers a lot easier and more even. I haven't tried it with blush, simply because I have a good blusher brush. I just feel that it picks up a lot more product then a regular fluffy brush and definitely more then my HEMA brush.

The brush is available at:
sigmamakeup.com for $25
boozyshop.nl for €24,95

If Sigma is not within your budget you could check out Zoeva.de because they have a similar brush for less.

With what type of brush do you apply your (loose) powders and/or bronzers?

xoxo
